Route Changes to Begin October 1st

The Butler Transit Authority’s downtown bus terminal location change and route modifications will begin October 1st.

Due to BTA’s lease ending, the downtown bus terminal will move from Cunningham Street to its new location at 128 West New Castle Street in Butler. The terminal will still offer a wait area where passengers can transfer buses, purchase bus passes, view a live map of the routes’ status and live bus tracking. Individuals 65 and older will still be able to obtain their free senior transit pass at the terminal.

With the terminal location change, all BTA’s bus routes have been modified to allow for the location change. With the exception of the Highfield area, all stops will still be serviced (or moved within a reasonable distance) by one or more routes. Route 2 and 4 have been combined into one route and have extended service on Saturday.New schedules can be found at the downtown bus terminal or visit our Routes page for more information.
