Route 2/4 Alert

The Butler Transit Authority (BTA) announced that its local Route 2/4 bus will be detoured due to the intersection work being done at Whitestown and Hansen.The construction project will turn Hansen Avenue and Whitestown Road into a four way intersection into Pullman Business Park. Beginning April 1st, there will be lane restrictions, closures and other inconveniences to traffic through the 2024 construction season.
With the planned full road closure of Armco Drive, BTA will not be able to service the Lyndora stops of Armco Dr. @ Chesapeake and Alton @ Bessemer. Passengers utilizing these stops will need to use Route 1 or Route 5’s Whitestown Rd @ Post Office stop located at Whitestown and Chesapeake.
BTA apologizes for this inconvenience and will resume service to the stop as soon as road openings permit.
