Commuter Service Update Effective 11/8/2021:
Commuter Route 1 (Rt8) will return to its normal service on Monday, November 8, 2021. Commuter fares will be free until December 1, 2021.
Commuter Service Update Effective 11/1/2021:
Commuter Route 4 (Rt68) will go back into service on Monday, November 1, 2021. The Route will run with a BTA bus and will pick up in Pittsburgh at the East Busway. Fares continue to be free.
Commuter Service Update Effective 10/22/21:
Commuter Route 2 (Rt8) will resume Pittsburgh pick ups at the East Busway starting October 22, 2021. An MV driver will be driving so the bus will be a BTA coach bus again and not a Coach USA bus.
Commuter Service Update Effective 10/15/21:
- Route 3 (Rt 68) will be returning to normal. The Pittsburgh stop will return to the EAST BUSWAY. Please note that this is ONLY for Route 3.
- Route 2 (Rt 8) will continue to be operated by Coach USA Monday through Thursday. Fridays it will operated by an MV driver in a BTA bus. To avoid confusion, it will still load at Liberty & 10th (by Westin, across from the Federal building) Monday through Friday regardless of whether it is a BTA bus or a COACH USA bus.
- Route 4 (Rt 68) will unfortunately be temporarily out of service. BTA and MV are working hard to reinstate both Route 1 and Route 4 as quickly as possible.
All fares will continue to be free.
Thank you as always for you patience as we have to make these adjustments.
