Bus ridership with the Butler Transit Authority (BTA) continues to rise as the Authority recently closed out its first quarter of 2009-2010. BTA had over 3,500 more passenger trips this year than in 2008, an increase of 6% from July, August and September of last year.
BTA’s ridership hike goes against the national reports which dropped slightly by 2.6%. The largest increase in sales for BTA is the economical $2 day pass. The pass allows passengers to ride the bus all day for only $2.
