BTA Ridership Increases

The Butler Transit Authority (BTA) finished out its second quarter of fiscal year 2008-2009 with another increase in ridership. Bus ridership has increased over 15% from last year's second quarter. From October to December 2008, more than 59,700 passenger trips were provided by the Butler Transit Authority. The Butler Transit Authority has provided over 120,900 passenger trips between July 2008 and December 2008.
BTA's ridership hike is more than double the national increase. Bus ridership on a national level is up 7.2%.
BTA is proud to offer transportation options to the Butler community and looks forward to continued growth in 2009.
