About the Butler Transit Authority

Welcome to the Butler Transit Authority (BTA). BTA is a fixed route transit system that provides two types of bus service to the Community:

1. BTA operates five local fixed routes in the City of Butler, Butler Township and Center Township.
2. BTA also operates a fixed route commuter service to the underground mines in Boyers.

The Authority is committed to providing quality transportation. It is continually evaluating the system to make improvements and provide as many transportation opportunities as possible to the community.
